    Bernanke is focusing on the wrong end of the problem. The majority of the economy is based on consumer confidence and spending. All of these low interest rates you quote do not apply to the individual consumer. If you want to see some movemeny you have to help the little guy deleverage. These credit card rates are rediculously usurious. what is it like a 20 point spread from a Treasury rate to credit card rate? Can't cut those credit card rates. Too lucrative for the banks.
