These are just the basic terms to get our minds wrapped around what's really going on as the War on Terror ramps up to a whole new level "and declares cyber-space job one."  Let's just say the New York Media Madness Machine has been joined by something they neither understand...nor want to.  Perhaps a history lesson then:  When America's only 6 Star General...General Black Jack Pershing...retired he was one of our greatest Generals.  He led this nation's Army in easily one the greatest military victories in all of History.  And what became of this General upon retirement?  "He wrote his memoirs" and that was that.  General Petraeus has stood at the forefront of the greatest series of military blunders since the American Revolution itself.  His reward?  The most powerful Command on the Planet.  One need only look at all the monuments to George Washington to..."understand."  For all of those who found the talk of the New World Order ridiculous....welcome to it. 

I'm not making a market call for equities in general but the bottom line is Treasuries are priced at a p/e of about a hundred here.  In short "perfection."  I simply cannot see any scenario right now that yields strong growth going into the election.  Not only that but the ECRI is predicting a recession and no matter should there be an oil boom...that will not prevent a double dip.  The fact of the matter is final demand is falling and real estate out West is proving to be one of the greatest catastrophes in US history.  To be blunt:  "do not mess around if you don't know what you're doing here."  Europe is going to implode...and this will have a major impact on our financial system and by extension our economy.

the question is without a real economic recovery is the non-correlated asset the equity market or the oil market?
