There's nothing speculative about Brocade even though Jim Cramer says there is but then again Jim has gotten Brocade wrong numerous times since last year. Clearly Brocade has been Jim's nemesis.

Brocade's coming out with 8Gb Fibre Channel products late summer/early fall and by all indications they will, again, lead the upgrade charge to this new technology.

The major concern with Brocade and the storage industry in general, is potential capex spending slowdown in the second half of the year so guidance here will be very important.

I have been holding Sears since 1991. In fact I inhereted the stock from my grandfather who had held it, I don't even know since when. Sears was/is a very diverse business and frankly so was Kmart. RadioShack isn't. This is a completely different ballgame and challenge for Julian Day.

At the end of day the lifeblood of the retail business is sales and sooner rather than later Radioshack will have to deliver the goods. I can understand the cost cutting measures, layoffs, store closings etc but when it comes down to they'll have to show top line revenue and growth.

This is a marathon for the current management but the stock had behaved as if it's involved in the 100 meter dash...Radioshack is not a turnaround story until top line revenue reverses the current trend and that's not going to happen any time soon. At least not this year.

RadoShalck's stock should not be trading at this levels and is extremely inflated based on hope, Julian Day's respect track record, manipulation, rumors, inuendo and short covering. Between March 1 thru March 31st they started buying back stock, $45mil worth woth an avg. price of $25 and change.

These guys have been laying off store managers, replacing them with less seasoned lower paid folks.

People don't buy TVs from Home Depot. The last thing I want is "Bob the Builder" try to sell me a TV. I'll gladly go to Home Depot to buy a Toilet seat but not a TV. In fact that would the last place I'd go to buy a TV. People don't buy TVs at Radio Shack, they buy trinkets and small electronic components. People do not buy TVs from Target nor CompUSA as a rule of thumb. I left Circuit City last and because these guys couldn't sell water in the middle of Sahara. CC stinks.

If I want a TV I'll go to Fry's Electronics, certainly Best Buy and maybe CC if the get their act together. If I'm gonna pluck down a couple of grand for a TV then I want to talk to someone who's knowledgable and not some guy off the street who happens to sell TVs at Home Depot after he's done laying down tile.
