I think Gold Mining companies are still in the game, more recently if you look at the daily trends as soon as the S&P500 moves a little lower the whole gold sector moves up really quick. NEM at least for swing traders is not a bad choice at all. Look at it for instance today, the S&P500 is -0.67% down, NEM is part of the index even so is trading at +1.37% up. And $NEM pay dividends.

  • Should You Be Bullish On Facebook? [View article]
I understand your arguments and your very reasonable explanation but the stock market is even more erratic these days. $FB jumped from $25 to $30 in less tan 2 weeks 12/28/12 – 01/14/13 (market’s days). Then in May down all the way. Do you realize how many people incurred huge losses at the IPO? And all these lawsuit going on? Anyone can go back and read the news around May 18, 2012. FB has many haters they won’t come back, including some millionaires and institutions, therefore once out of their positions there is just space for shorters, what can I say? Of course it will go up that’s what the stock market does up & down, but too much hassle with this one, and not even a decent dividend, so tell me why keep it?
FB is still the worst-performing Nasdaq 100 stock since its IPO a year ago. It’s down 39% from its IPO price of $38. It’s not for me.

IMHO If you are NOT a $FB IPOer you might feel bullish on FB & even make a little short term $ depending on when you entered. But at this point I would not Buy. I would HOLD and SELL as soon as it get's near $30 that's it. Then move to other more comfy stock.
