A renowned visionary, Jigar Shah is committed to eliminating energy waste and illogical decision making that prevent prosperity beyond the carbon economy. Currently CEO of Carbon War Room, Shah has the belief that climate change solutions represent the largest wealth creation opportunity available today. The Carbon War Room targets market barriers to cost-effective Climate Change Solutions across 25 sectors of the economy. Prior to the Carbon War Room, Shah founded SunEdison in 2003. He works closely with leading world influencers and guides policy makers around the globe on key issues surrounding renewable energy, global warming and sustainability. Shah holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, and an MBA from the University of Maryland.
