From AMZN's perspective, fulfillment (what Amzn does) and distribution (what WMT does) are two very different things...one is highly variable 1 to 5 units per box into a truck several thousand times going to thousands of customers, the other is 50-100 units to a pallet going into a truck that ends up at one store...it is not as easy as marketing and ads to change the logistics process of your business model.
