"Using the EBITDAx7 valuation formula, we can see that the company would need to have EBITDA of around $88.5 billion in order for its shares to be valued at $39.01, its current share price at the close.

It currently has $26 billion in EBITDA and the projected EBITDA by 2016 is of over $80 billion. This seems fair for investors who can wait for this company to keep growing and exploit a larger portion of its income as cash flows."

With $26 Billion in EBITDA, maybe they should make a play to acquire MNST and DPS! LOL

SODA has already stated they will be cash flow positive for Q2 and the remainder of 2012. Please take this trash piece with a grain of salt.

It's really amazing the complacency that is shown around all things SODA. Oh well. This early bird is getting the worm. Shorts are grasping at straws with this "fad" nonsense. There is not a single fundamental metric that can support this theory. People inherently will believe something won't "catch on" simply because they themselves won't use the product/service. It's insane. We get it - SodaStream is not for everyone. Many many many millions of people will still prefer to go out to the store and buy their Coke or Pepsi. But make no mistake, there is a global market for SODA, that includes the U.S. and it's growing leaps and bounds. As Josh states in the article, SODA is not only growing, but innovating along the way to gain and maintain relavence. Key branding/licensing deals, along with an increased marketing presence will thrust them into the spotlight. Consumers will begin to seek out SodaStream versus simply happening upon them in retail. These current levels are a gift and I'm adding as much as I can.

This has to be THE WORST article I have yet to come across. There seems to be new SIRI "experts" popping up at SA almost daily. "Grasping at straws"?!?!? Are you serious? Since when is producing incremental revenue and growing your business grasping at straws? This author clearly has absolutely no clue. I'm shocked SA would publish this garbage.

I'm actually choosing to take a conservative optimism on 2.0 as we've been burned on "game changers" in the past (AKA iPhone app, XM Snap, etc etc). The fact that Mel has only mentioned the additional Latin channels and "DVR" functionality (certainly all fantasic improvements) has me leery about getting too pumped about the potential of 2.0. Fact is, even without 2.0, there's plenty to excite us longs. Spensor nailed the true ramifications the GM deal can/will provide and I'm praying like hell that other manufacturers follow suit. A dramatic increase in the used market coupled with a price hike and there's the game changer I'm hanging my hat on. Thanks again and good luck to you...
