Well done - one of the better calls on here to say the least.

  • Guanwei Recycling Corp Could Be The Next 3 Bagger [View article]
I am very familiar with GPRC (I am long GPRC), having met the management team years ago. The company is run by very honest, straightforward and caring people, housing employees and in generals being very good citizens. It has been a wild ride to say the least, and the company is a tad quiet for my liking, but they have quietly executed and have a nice cash balance in addition to real earnings. Could be a great trade for sure - finally.

  • Research In Motion's Worst-Case Scenario [View article]
It's logical and fairly good article - what it misses too is that companies don't instantaneously liquidate, there is legal expense, time and they likely lose money for years before the shutter the doors (and we should note that no company has ever just shut down); look at Kodak... just now went into bankruptcy and probably has an enormous IP portfolio worth many billions after losing money for decades -- companies like RIMM use that 'breakup value' as a reverse mortgage to attempt to regain the glory.

  • Netflix: Adjusted Free Cash Flow Almost Non-Existent [View article]
Totally agreed on this one - I've loved NFLX and owned it since the IPO (off and on position sizing over that time) and finally exited - then shorted, at 160 (which didn't work) covered 220... all the while margins being compressed. It's an amazing company, still more amazing valuation. TweakerLabs has it a sell (closed beta testing on the app) as well. We'll see how it works out - don't see how margins will ever support that valuation.
