  • Can Apple Burst The Netflix Bubble? [View article]
Android's market share = 80% * 16% switching to IOS = 12,8% of the total market switching to IOS from Android

IOS market share = 20% * 20% switching to Android = 4% of the total market switching to Android from IOS.

Android to IOS switchers are more than 3 times superior to IOS to Android switchers.

  • How Apple Stock Does Before New iPhones Are Introduced [View article]
Me Santos. Apple brings the best possible Iphone at each iteration. You are mistaking the best possible practical & 100% working technologies with half backed gadgets that you find on Samsung or other Android phones.

  • How Apple Stock Does Before New iPhones Are Introduced [View article]
Mr Santos. Pls don't please with words. You well understood that dejavoodoo meant IOS & not OSX which he misused. You also well understood that, coming from an Iphone, he had switched to a high end Android.
What dejavoodoo is trying to tell you is that his user's experience was horrendous.
Your article is a scientifically none sense. You can not claim that a trend is there with only 5 values when 2 of the values present a difference of +200% & -100% compared to the average value.

  • Apple's dominance of profit almost complete [View news story]
@ demodave. Most of us think that you should return to high school.
    typing corrections
FYI : A zero profit is when "all costs = sales". One has a profit when "sales > all costs". And one loses money when "all costs > sales". In this last case we have a NEGATIVE PROFIT.
    When a company sells items A, B & C. A for 92$ profit, B for 15$ profit & C for 7$ loss = -7$ profit. The total profit = 100$. A & B have respectively 92 & 15% share of the total profit, C is losing money & has -7% share of the total profit.

So, instead of giving math lessons, better you open some math book.

  • Here's Why Apple Is Weak Since Earnings [View article]
To Author. BMW has several type of cars as Apple has several type of Iphones. Apple has other products making 1/3 of their income. In many ways Apple is much more diversified than BMW is.
Then what about Microsoft : Only Windows and Office.
Then what about Google or FaceBook : Add's income only.
Then what about Intel : Processors only
    etc. etc.

  • Apple: Bear Case From A Bull [View article]
@ author. But you state that ipod was a gadget. To you, a device allowing you to listen to your music is a gadget. So Radio was a gadget, TV is a gadget, you define an orchestra as a gadget or a music instrument also as a gadget. We can extend your definition to a device allowing any kind of entertainment is a gadget. This is nonsense.

  • Dumping Apple Makes Sense For Immediate Income Growth [View article]
@ Author. Unlike you, i think that Apple is a stock to buy and hold for long time. I first bought Apple in 2007 at $16 split adjusted and despite the 2008 crises (I added some at $13 split adjusted in 2009) and then the late 2012/2013 irrational dumping (I added some more at 63 in june 2013) I have made a 900% gain in less than 8 years on my original purchase & 1000% on my purchase of 2009 & 100% on my purchase of june 2013.
    Never sold.
Please tell me which one of your dividend stock would have given me such a return ?

@ author. The gain/loss of a porto folio is it's stocks gain/loss plus the income coming from the dividend. Any one managing a porto folio is judged by his overall performance compared to a given benchmark. You cannot seriously say that only the income matters to you whatever the performance of the porto folio. If your porto folio's loss is 10% while your dividend income is 3% your performance is -7%. Simple math.

  • Surface 3 And Apple Watch - Red Oceans Vs. Blue Oceans [View article]
The watches already in the market are +/- irrelevant because do not sell a sizable number. The total market open to them is very small because what they offer is either so little or so niche.
