  • Not Everyone Likes Windows 7 [View article]
I like this advise, when I worked, there were over 20,000 PCs connecting to company mid size servers, where I was a system manager. We never bought anything during the first six months of it's life, we waited to read what happened to others, we could not afford to take down so many computers due to a new upgrade.

One of the anti-virus software firms took us down with a weekend upgrade, that was pushed out from our servers to our PCs. what fun that was, took all day for us to back it out, so it is not just OS upgrades that can kill your computer. There are several virus that tell you that an infection has gotten into your PC and suggest you down load their system (virus). I have seen that one at home and use PC tools to remove it. I use routers and firewalls at home and still the bad stuff fines a way in. I wonder if firms using apple have such problems??

"Usually setting a new PC does not require loading the OS, it comes pre loaded. So after that statement, everything else he says makes me wonder if this really happened.

  • Cramer's Mad Money - Anatomy of a Tech Rally (3/26/09) [View article]
I heard Cramer give his opinion of J&J last night and as an owner myself, I did not believe his story on selling all and J&J last and buying it back at half price. I may have misheard him, but the math did not add up for me.

  • Dividend Paying Stocks: You Only Have to Be Lucky Once [View article]
I like the dividend stocks and a good time to buy them can be the x-dividend date, when the price might drop the amount of the dividend.. Some traders make a game of buying and selling the same stocks just to keep the dividend,s. I do not want to put myslef through that, and just buy them when they are low, and reinvest the dividends. Dividends have really grown my twealth.

  • Overall, Fundamentals Are Still Deteriorating  [View article]
The market will not like "all stock dividends" being put on hold for a year and such an act could cause more harm than good. I surley would not buy a stock without a dividend although I own two which have recently suspended their dividend. I am thinking over my options on these two.
