I keyed in on the same, why did they triple their finacial staff, was this to fill some requirement for BDO before BDO would take them on, or an effort to bring rapid closure to what is going on? Also, I would ask the question of fees and new overhead expenses, what will BDO charge and adding about 25 new accountants could cost the company $3M annually taking salaries, benefits, and other associated costs, not alot for a big company, but a company that is already posting -1.02 EPS, this could drive it down further. I think the best COA really is to wait and see how they use the infused capital. I am with you on the wait and see approach.

Currently sitting at 10.57 and had a break down to about 10.37 this past week, any thoughts out there what caused the drop? At least it coincided with the dividend pay out this week.

looks like PSEC may drop below the 10.80 mark, last time this happened it went to 9.56 then rallied to around 11.50, any thoughts out there on if it will go lower, looking to buy more

Saw on mad money yesterday that Annaly was recommended over PSEC aren't these two companies very different in their business models? Why would these two be compared in the same category, just because the yield is similar?

AGNC has a great management team. Like any great company it is how the management handles issues through changing times. everyone swore off the MREITS once the FED starting buying MBS's and sure AGNC is off its highs, but it never lowered the dividend like many called for at the start of the FEDs MBS program. AGNC will continue to do well as they are very savy and forward adaptive, but like stated above I do not think they will raise the dividend in the near future but will continue to be a solid performer.
Like JC, watch the show, even made some money off recomendations but sometimes he is off. I have enjoyed a 30% gain in an agency REIT that he did not endorse and endorsed the other company, which had a 20% sell off, unfortunately when he did get behind the REIT I own it dropped 4 points! He also called AA as the growth stock at 12, it has dropped to mid 8s, bear every since he recommended, BLUF don't put stock in it, 8 has a good business model.
