  • How To Fix Financial Capitalism? Focus On Ethics [View article]
"V", the critical word is "HOW" money managers make the money . Obvious examples, Ponzi, Madoff, Dimon and the ENTIRE WALL STREET SWINDLERS CABAL - EXCEPT - ????? . Sorry, I can't think of an exception, perhaps you can . Then there are the SWINDLERS VERY NECESSARY AIDERS and ABETTORS; a plethora of POLITICIANS, "REGULATORS", the "JUSTICE" DEPARTMENT and POTUS who wouldn't be in the White House without the backing of "Wall Street" . Or, perhaps I'm mistaken . Maybe all those MILLIONS and MILLIONS of contributions (BRIBES ?) came from VERY SMALL donations, $1.00 to $10.00, from MILLIONS and MILLIONS of us "Little People". It is nauseating for me to write this but, I submit to you that "our" government and "Wall Street" constitute a CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE . And, I ask you to dissuade me if you can . I think, I HOPE I have an open mind .

  • How To Fix Financial Capitalism? Focus On Ethics [View article]
If Mr. Roger's solution is to work we must first drastically modify "human nature", which is difficult . Organized religions have been trying, to no avail, for a long, long time. Judas hung around with a decent crowd but, even he succumbed to the temptation of "filthy lucre" much to the chagrin of his eleven buddies and the "Big Guy". Or, so the story goes . No, the "solution" requires the REinstatement of the RULE of LAW for EVERYBODY , - that's - "EVERYBODY"! And, SERIOUS PRISON TIME for ALL MALEFACTORS including REGULATORS, POLITICIANS, et al !!! Synopsized it's simple, - "If YOU do the CRIME YOU do the TIME !" WE all understand this OLD FASHIONED IDEA, right !!?? Time to put it back to work !

  • Will Holder's Successor Also Deem Wall Street Execs 'Too Big To Jail'? [View article]
Although I voted for President Obama twice, for obvious reasons at the times, he and Mr. Holder have done more to undermine the "Rule of Law" in our nation than the Mafia . THEIR failure to prosecute W. Bush and his cabal for war crimes and THEIR refusal to indict our "Wall Street Criminals" is, in a word, unbelievable .

  • Judge reportedly delays BofA $8.5B settlement [View news story]
The $8.5 billion is NOTHING but another "Cost of Doing Business" on BAC's Income Statement . And, it is for THIS reason the "system needs to come down" ! Until our "ELITE" judges(?) start putting "ELITE CROOKS" in prison nothing will change . Let me suggest that YOU commit a robbery that nets $10,000. 00 . Then, propose to our "justice system" that you return $2,000.00 in "restitution" but keep $8,000.00 and GO FREE . Laughable ??? YES !!! But, that's our "justice system" administered by our "ELITE" judges(?) for the "ELITE CROOKS" . Cordially, D. J. L.

  • U.S. wants $2.1B from BofA over mortgage fraud [View news story]
The "regular people" you mention go to JAIL when they are crooks ! Mortgage and banking executives DON'T, nor are they personally fined . And, until enforced laws include our ELITE, WEALTHY crooks it will be business-as-usual . At the very least, we-the-people(government) should be paid-back $2.1 B. PLUS a HEFTY fine and, the mortgage and banking "executives/crooks" should spend YEARS in a federal prison reflecting on their "misdeeds"(CROOKED BEHAVIOR) . THE VERY BEST WAY TO ROB A BANK/MORTGAGE CO. is to "OWN IT" !!! Cordially, D.J.L.

  • Judge allows expanded mortgage-bond class-action suits [View news story]
Per the U.S. Supreme Court, when corporations swindle and steal there are no human beings involved . And this axiom is totally supported by the U.S. Attorney General, Eric Holder, and his staff of elite law school lawyers . The only way you and I, the "little people", will see "old fashion real justice" is by supporting the A.C.L.U.. Vigilantes would also help . Want to know what the "real" world is about law/politics then read "The Peoples Advocate" by constitutional lawyer Daniel Sheehan . Cordially, D.J.L.

  • Holder: "Tip of the iceberg" in bank investigations [View news story]
HOOBOY ; JP Morgan perpetrates a $100 Billion swindle, but A.G. Eric Holder and his cadre SWOOP in to right the wrong . After years of "litigation" the bank is "fined" $10 Billion and only gets away with a lousy $90 Billion . That'll teach 'em to REPENT !!! And, of course, nobody goes to jail . It's the AMERICAN WAY !!! In the meantime the bank has completed a dozen other swindles . But, that's for another day . D.J.L. P.S. Is this a VERY SUCCESSFUL Government/1% criminal enterprise, OR WHAT . Define it another way, if you can !!??

  • U.S. derides Countrywide's "Hustle" program, wants $864M from Bank of America [View news story]
What a JOKE ! Refresh your memory as I did, Google :"News about former Countrywide Chgm/CEO Angelo Mozilo" and read Wikipedia's account . "CW cheated Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac out of MORE THAN A BILLION dollars" . Mizilo took home MORE THAN $500,000,000.00 (That's MILLIONS), was indicted for SECURITIES FRAUD & INSIDER TRADING, made a DEAL with the "justice (Hah) DEPARTMENT", paid a PERSONAL fine of $47.5 million and got IMMUNITY from further CRIMINAL prosecution . And, he is NOW "living-in-luxury-ever... . The site will also provide the names of FORTY-THREE (43) Fannie Mae EXECUTIVES, including it's former CEO, Jim Johnson, given "VIP" mortgages by Mozilo. PLUS, a list of a "DOZEN" government "Big Shots", Including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi & SON, former US Banking Committee Chgm., Christopher Dodd, Senate Budget Committee Chgm., Kent Conrad, and many more . Mozilo was fined "about" NINE PERCENT (9%) of the MILLIONS he STOLE . Followed up now with a CW/BAC "fine" of, MAYBE $863. million to "pay back" the MORE THAN $1, 000,000,000.00 (BILLIONS) SWINDLED from Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac . The "fine is the MAXIMUM ALLOWED"! Apparently our "leaders" have even set "fine" LIMITS for BILLIONAIRE SWINDLERS . Do the math, it PAYS to OWN politicians and other government elites . In FAIRNESS however, our "leaders" are clawing back BILLIONS from the us, the UNWASHED MASSES, by CUTTING FOOD STAMPS for the POOR . - - So, lets hear it for our 'leaders", Atty. Gen., Eric Holder, and JUSTICE !!! Cordially, D. J. Ludwig

  • DOJ probes nine leading banks over sale of mortgage debt [View news story]
Phr3d - Nothing gets past the DOJ, it's just a little slow on the uptake . After six or seven years you can bet they have enough evidence to slap a fine on a receptionist or lobby guard who, EVERYONE KNOWS, is undoubtedly responsible for ALL of this fraud . I wonder if there is still a person in this nation who believes the wealthy and/or powerful are subject to the same laws and rules us "little people" . We NEED an "American spring, summer, fall and winter" to actually make changes . Such a pity !!! DJL

  • Wal-Mart drags major averages down [View news story]
Hopefully people are beginning to understand that Wal-Mart is nothing but a slave-wage paying parasite company that only benefits the Walton family Massas back on the good ole' plantation in Arkansas and, their suppliers in CHINA . If there is any justice in the world this could be the beginning of the demise of Wal-Mart as it is now constituted . Invest at your peril ! Don L.

If GE becomes more profitable they might even join the rest of us and pay some income tax . Although, that would embarrass them with their peers .
