The Muddle Through Economy, R.I.P.? [View article]
Obama has been in office 10 months, you morons! The Wall Street abuse has been encouraged by the so call free-market idiots like you. You bow to the free- market ideology, but you forget that the world has caught up to the rape perpetrated by the good ol' US of A after wwII. Time to think of how to invest in your country instead make a quick buck from the ebbs and flows of this travesty called the stock market.

Sure, both parties are to blame, but its time to stand behind a party that NOW its willing to battle real problems facing our countries, instead of concentrating on garbage like abortion, christianity, the threat of Islam....and other crap like that. This country needs to build its manufacturing base and stop squandering BILLIONS on defense, the war on drugs, entitrlement programs for ex-military (how do you like them apples?). If every company of 10 or more employees agreed to take a 10% pay cut and hire an eleventh employee, the world would be a better place, the employees would be happier and unemployment would plummet. These are solutions that only the left thinks about. The Right is too busy proclaiming that competition is paramount(until other countries beat us, then they complain of unfair advantage).

Remember when the Left was warning the Right that by starting fictitious wars, neglecting the economy, cuting taxes for the rich, outsourcing, not regulating wall street, we were going to pay for these mistakes for a generation to come? That's what's happenig now. Suck it up and put the blame squarely on the Republicans, starting with that idiot Reagan.

For all you experts out there, why does the DOW and S&P look identical in their graph? Obviously there is no divergence. The proof is in the graph. Any of you experts have the balls to make a guess of these indexes over the next year? didnt think so. There are no experts. Like I said before everyone is just guessing.
Markets: Reversion to the Mean or a Really Mean Reversion? [View article]
Doom and Gloom once again. Just so you know I am a socialist, so i berlieve the stock market should be abolished completely and people should strive to make their respective countries better. Wall street should be demolished because it syphons off a big chunck of people's money. Having said that I have made an obscene amount f money in the last 6 months by NOT listening to people like you. I don't care how many thumbs down signs I get, but this nation wide GAMBLING GAME must end.
Markets: Reversion to the Mean or a Really Mean Reversion? [View article]
Why if only one argument is correct? What if the market was really oversold in March. What if the health plan passes and people like it, what if a few companies start hiring and people slowly start to buy again, then momentum starts to build and we reach 11,000 on the DOW by years' end? Why can't that happen? Do you really believe that the planet has less resources or less consumers?
Please give me a break my UAE friend. Is this some sort of fear tactic? Ww are going to have wars sporadically all the time on this planet. This is human nature. What kind of stategy do you have?
Are you kidding me? I am using the Conservative v. liberal mentality, not the definition of Republican/Democrat of today' society. Surely you can't be that ignorant. Wait...you are a Republican.
I wonder what conservatives thought of slavery when a few Socialist / Radicals thought about abolishing it. You don't have to believe in God to know that tying up a unfortunate black soul, and beating him to a pulp because he didn't pick enough cotton, MUST BE a bad thing. Likewise, when a bunch a bankers and oilmen are able to cause so much misery to their country, this too must be a bad thing. Thus, my position on this so called free-market, is that it must be regulated a hundred times-fold more than it is now. I trust government more than I trust human beings individually, because at least with governement you know who to go after, if things go bad. Who can I go after now? Exxon? Goldman-Sachs? Blackwater? Halliburton? Bechtel? I will surely disappear in a timely manner. At least revolutions do stand a chance. Spare me your faith in free-markets, it has caused the demise of this nation.
Teresa E , honey you are the one who needs to wake up! Who did you vote for, in the last 3 elections? Bush, McCain and Palin? Wow you must be so much smarter than us? Go learn something outside of Fox news, then come and debate me, if you like a spanking.
Mr bogoMip, you sir are full of it! Socialist party? What the hell kind of redneck neocon bullshit is that! Do you forget who's recession this is? It's your party's. This is the Bush Recession. For the last 8 years we went on manufactured wars on terrorism, we wasted billions on corporations like Blackwater,Halliburton etc.., and what did we do to build this country? Not a damn thing. You and your party are to blame, never forget that. You may not agree with Obama (I'm sorry you now have a President with intelligence and tact) but this is YOUR Fault. So spare me your bullshit socialist rant. The US is no, longer the biggest player in the world, just like Japan is not either. I'm sorrry your kind sold out to Communist China and Muslim Saudi Arabia/U.A.E., but dont you dare sermon us about the risks of socialism. Corporations are the ones to fear, not the Governemnt. When everything goes to hell. who is the guarantor of last resort? The US governmnet and its people!! You think the CEO's will step in and save the day? So go watch some more Fox news to make you feel good about your delusion.
Manufacturing: Will This Be a V-Shaped Recovery After All? [View article]
I just thought it was funny that mr. tobi mentioned he didnt believe in the numbers released by a communist regime (china). How hypocritical can we get, when we have not only shown the rest of the planet how to destabilize the entire market with the speculative bubbles we create, but also when we have sold out our manufacturing to these communists.
Market Exuding a General Bullish Tone [View article]
I didnt discount the rest of the world. There is no way you cant proclaim bullish or bearish tones, based on any data. Next month IF the Dow goes back to 8,000 what tone will we be in?

Markets exuding a general bullish tone? This guy should be fired!!! I am so sick of daily changes by these so called experts about the general direction of markets. I think if you are an expert and don't get at least 70% of your guesses right, you should be fired. There is no tone people! It's everyone's guess. Overall the fundamentals are bad, but we are after all a country of 300 million consumers who are used to buying things to make ourselves feel good. Eventually we will buy more, when this fear fades. That's the best I can guess about the future.
