i just bought a lenovo...i like it so far...but msft needs to tweak win8 or offer two versions of it (one for pc's)

Agreed, W8 has the idea, but needs tweaking. Disable Metro for laptops, bring back Start Menu. Switch between Metro and Desktop...

i downloaded "classic shell" and made some changes...helps a lot...but people shouldn't have to make changes, that's on msft

Agreed, MSFT should have left the feel and functionality of Desktop more or less the same. I downloaded Classic Shell too... :)
