Google Claims To Have Defeated Vringo Search Patents [View article]
I understand, Then the time frame for the depositions (for both Furrow and Dr. Becker) proposed by G is unreasonable (June 7th and July 2nd, respectively) How would it be fair to award an extension that long? Its already been 5+ months! Willfully infringing I might add.
To be clear then, the recent slip in PPS is caused by #1 a request for the deposition + time extension and #2 the rumor of a work around, that's it?

I’ll ask the question I think everyone is ACTUALLY wondering: V’s reply to G is due Monday, then HJJ will rule on the allowance of extra time to present the work around and/or to depose Dr. Becker. What are the likely chances HJJ allows time? How long will the time be? If the time frame is long (June or July) RRs wait or could they be granted in the interim? IMO if RRs wait for 3 months the stock will be crippled (low $2s -> people’s patience is already thin and the risk of there really being a work around)
What are thoughts on a likely timeframe moving forward?
Vringo (VRNG) -2.7% AH after SA contributor Patent Plays makes note of a Google motion filed today in which the search giant claims to have developed an AdWords workaround that would allow it to avoid infringing Vringo's IP. Though granting Google might be bluffing, the author believes otherwise, and notes Google's hard-line stance towards IP suits from non-practicing entities (NPEs) gives it extra motivation to try and dissuade would-be litigants. Citing GOOG's hard-line stance against NPE's as grounds for believing they have a work-around is not evidence. GOOG is merely hoping for another extension from JJ to avoid paying for that much longer. AND VRNG is a different case than most NPE's that sue GOOG, as Lang actually developed (helped) the patents in question

Hi Dan, any word on the '420 patent and the 11 claims GOOG made (followed by VRNGs response late Nov)? are we expecting an imminent conclusion from the USPTO with regards to that?

Hi Geori, that was a phenomenal article, one of the best I've seen Quick question (been trying to piece this together) What is the expected chronology of events looking forward? -JJ final verdict? -GOOG appeal? (or not, settlement?) -ZTE litigation?

Thank you very much for the article, well written; it's important to pay attention to both sides of the coin. Question: When do we expect the court's decision regarding GOOG's summary judgement to be released? VRNG filed its opposition on Sept 27th
