  • Colorado‚Äôs Growing Cannabis Sales Open New Opportunities for NTRR [View article]
Words like plans and developing are good words and yet the stock continues in the low 20s cent range.

Nothing has yet to show that this company is a major player or even a minor player. With the many states allowing the use of Marijuana, just that alone should have increased the stock price.

This is still a very speculative stock. For new traders, be very careful and look for other stocks at this time. By the way, I own NTRR and at this time do not recommend buying.

  • Corinthian Colleges: 38% Downside, A Great Short Play [View article]
Many of the schools have lawsuits against them. When you think of it, the gov't appears to bring lawsuits against everyone; only way they can make money. When you look at some of the settlements, has not been a great deal of money. So far no settlements against COCO.

I agree with Brian that the community colleges do not have the capacity. I know people that work in the community colleges, a little bit of chaos both internally and for the students. We wait and see.

Could be one of the larger schools that would take it over. But you are right in, we will see.

  • Alexza Pharmaceuticals Announces Private Placement of $45 Million of Non-Recourse Notes [View article]
They are setting themselves up for the future. They can use the money for continue testing of their second drug using the Staccato system while being able to pay their debts coming from the royalties from ADASUVE.
I own ALXA and am long on the stock.

Because these stocks are penny stocks, many do try to manipulate the stock.

Companies that send emails on trying to get me to buy a penny stock goes into my junk mail. They try to get many to buy and those that are very quick will sell within minutes of the stock going up while the rest take the hit.

Check with your brokerage company. I no longer own MJNA but I checked with someone that has it; no changes to their stock.

  • Corinthian Colleges: Tread Carefully [View article]
Normally you do not see a well known company go in to raise the price and then sell. Anything is possible but I still go back to 70% institutional ownership.
I look at COCOs quarterly calls and see a company that is straight forward in their discussions.
I see the gov't going after every business possible to make money. Banks, oil companies, investment companies, colleges, etc.
I will stay with COCO until I see what happens with these accusations and their Q3 earnings.

I look at the institutional ownership at 71%, with Wells Fargo and BlackRock Fund advisors being the top two. That alone tells me that the big guys are not giving up on COCO.

I believe they are still trying to sell three of their buildings and should be completing the overhaul some of their internal systems. Some of the items they announced was predicted in their last quarterly meeting. I am still positive on COCO but will be watching, very closely, any changes to the institutional ownership and any further announcements from COCO.

And just to let you know, I do own COCO. When I give my opinion it is important to know if I own the stock.

Great Line: "Jack has to go to his own school, select a topic of public speech, and be a student there."
What you see is the same as what Blackrock and Wells Fargo sees. Ignore the speech and look at what is really going on.
They are selling buildings and eliminated and/or will be eliminating their non-profit schools and programs. They have stated their plan and I believe will execute their plan successfully. We now wait.

I go with the insiders that are buying it. They know better than anyone. Both of those companies pay more in fines than they have invested in COCO. Again no reason to buy unless they know that they will weather the storm.

That is the problem with Penny stocks. Very little if any information.

Companies like Blackrock and Wells Fargo do not need to shore up any company. When you see companies like these purchase then you jump on the band wagon. I trust those companies more than anyone else on this website.

My position has not changed regarding new stock traders relying on Penny stocks.
Everyone is different; if it works for you great.
It was very easy for me to tell that you are a new trader.
Emotional traders, over time, do not do well. Hopefully you will do as well as I am doing. Good Luck.
