Kim Jong Il may prepare all his military men to brace for war, but North Korea thrives on South Korea's success, and the success of the economy surrounding North Korea. To destabilize the regional economy with a battalion will lead to a loss (at the expense of South Korean lives), and lose the nation that his father and himself has built.
There will not be a war, in the near future, and is just a political play by Lee Myung Bak and Kim Jong Il to calm each nation's anger/frustrations.
The real scare is the growing power of Samsung, not North Korea.
Definitely a buying opportunity if EWY further drops.
