Thomas Papapolyzos was born in Serres(Greece) in 1968. Mr Thomas Papapolyzos received his Bachelor of Science in Physics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece (1985-1990) and his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of New York University (NYU), USA (1990 – 1992). He is President of the Board of Directors / CEO in TREK Consulting SA and Coordinator of ICT projects for the private sector, the Public and E.U. bodies. He is responsible for the management of the company (including financial management, HRD, business planning, day-to-day running of the business). He coordinates a wide range of projects and consulting services on ICT issues (strategic planning – design – ...More implementation), and has experience in successfully bidding for, and implementing, European Union area projects. He also has extensive experience of implementing grant schemes financed by the Greek national funds. He has managed over 130 projects in the period 1995 – 2010, both on behalf of the company, and acting as Project Manager on behalf of company clients. A serial entrepreneur has founded more than a dozen companies in the fields of Internet, Financial Services, Consulting, Tech Services etc, where some of them were sold to bigger institutions for substantial profit.

He consults regularly for government and private projects in the EU, Balkan & Middle East area in the fields of Business Process Management & Reengineering, Entrepreneurship Information technology, Energy and Public Policy. Currently , he serves as a member of the Board , in a number of companies in IT, Advertising and Consulting fields
