I just happen to buy XTO two weeks ago. My family has land in the Barnett Shale. I am familiar with most of the companies. DVN, RRC, and XTO are the best run with the best reputation. Everyone speaks highly of these three companies. Believe me, no one would want the other due to the legal mess they leave behind.

I still think PDLI is a good buy and there aren't many companies that pay a descent dividend at their current price. As long as they don't cut their current dividend, over time it will help pay for the stock price. I am a long-term investor.

I bought SIRI at .36. I got my money back and letting the house money ride. I am proud of what the CEO has done for this company. It is expensive to maintain satellites. Not every company has this problem.

Overbought Stocks

Exactly, I sold most of mine after holding the stock around the same price level for several months .

I believe the economy is getting better. I was laid off from a large cap company(semiconductor industry) last winter. They are calling people back on a six month contract anticipation things will be even better 2010.

I just wish they would let us invest more in an IRA. The limit $5000 for people under 50 yrs per year isn't enough to build up for retirement. If people have the money to invest, let them. SSI may go broke in a few years.
