I agree. As a Chiropractor I have seen the damage that acetaminophen caused to people. I hope and pray for the ban. It will save many lives.

  • Pharmas, Hospitals Fall Due to Health Care Reform Troubles [View article]
Interesting thread. I respect all your thoughts and opinons. I think there will be a reform and the drops that we're seeing is people hedging and positioning themselves based on the information, or lack of, that they have. Personally, as a Chiropractor and someone who is pretty much anti big Pharma, I have a hard time feeling sorry for the loses their stocks are taking. Drugs are big money but have not proved to bring quality to life as promised.

  • Healthcare Costs Restraining Economic Recovery [View article]
Spoken as only a true physician would. If you were measure the costs associated with returning/restoring one to health you would see that cutting Chiropractic care would be a huge mistake. After all, the system is not going broke because of Chiropractors, its busted because of physician abuse and lack of effectiveness of treating people with chemicals. I have helped many people to make lifestyle changes which resulted in less chemical dependence, less trips to their Doctor, and less burden on their insurance company. If your going to cut anything, cut medicine.

  • Healthcare Costs Restraining Economic Recovery [View article]
Not only are there inefficiencies in the health care system, but there is some outright abuse. I am a Chiropractor, I shoot a set of xray's and examine a patient. Their MD's will shoot another set a day later, to see the same results. Our system is called health care, but it's a sick care system. People don't go to prevent dis-ease, they wait until they are sick to seek help. it's alot cheaper to keep people healthy then to wait until they are ill

  • Pfizer: How to Win or Lose the Lottery [View article]
Well said. Sad to think a drug company. or responder on this board would put profits before people. The drug companies are laughing at the fines, as they have made 50 times that pushing the drugs
