I finally woke up one day to realize what the stock market was all about. It's not about the economy, fundamentals or who can make the best argument. It's about perception and the money flow that arises from those with money acting on their perception.

I now take an irreverant approach to investing. I am 95% technical, with 5% reserved for a fundamental confirmation. I used to force my fundamental worldview on to the market. Now I flow with the market one way or the other, and attempt to ratchet up gains by careful use of stop loss orders and money management techniques.

I find the content on Seeking Alpha is 95% bickering over fundamentals and a mere 5% on technical setups, so I hope to bring the latter up to at least 5.1% by adding my odd comment here and there.
