  • Adamis: An Easy Double After The FDA's CRL, With Even More Long-Term Growth Potential [View article]
Well, ADMP did stay strangely level in February despite market enthusiasm. Now it's strangely level despite the CRL. This is a low volume stock, so more volatility would be expected unless someone was distributing/accumulat...

The B terms were there in advance, but what was changed at the last hour was from 271 days to 121 days after issuance. Thus ensuring Axion stock had no chance to recover (remembering the remaining PIPE warrant shares).

I meant DDG knew the terms of the deal, but likely did not know the extent of the damage these kinds of deals do. It was pitched to him as warrants which he expected would fund the company. The B's were described as risk mitigation, not the entire strategy.

From my investing experience, I learned about human nature. In short, everyone is full of shit.

Unless you sold right away the common and A shares, you did slightly better than break even. It's nothing to brag about especially if you lost money in Axion prior.

I don't think that DDG knew the extent of damage to shareholders until it was too late. That is, he didn't know how the market would play out. Though he knew it was a bad deal for which they had no other options. He seemed like a stand up guy so I hope the stress didn't play a part in his passing.

FWIW, I remember your posts and didn't think you were a troll.

Curious, what phone calls tipped you off about Axion?

Got a chuckle out of the Axillion :)

The B sellers don't seem to be letting up and makes a takeover plot more and more plausible.

It would be fair to ask in return about your reasons for posting incessantly about Axion over the years under various pseudonyms. That too is part of the mysteries.

I'm also aghast about how bad management is described. Before the non-eventful years following 2012 I wouldn't have thought such rot could exist with the many irons in the fire Axion had created.

Around where I'm at there are many famous venture capitalists. I would often go hear them speak, and they would repeatedly say that they invest in the founders, not just the business. From their experience, the management made all the difference. That was a lesson only drove home to me after Axion.

One of the investors, Ron Conway, said that he invested in Twitter "site" unseen, because he knew of the founder's character (granted you can get away with that in software due to low startup costs). He also said that he had a rule to never invest in hardware startups...

Also to give you an idea of successful venture capital, Y Combinator started with a bankroll of 10's of millions if that, and now has a portfolio worth in the billions. They have no outside investors...

Apparently 60 Minutes is moving a lot of stocks lately. LL and MCP both had huge swings from being featured.
