  • Mulally Stays, Buy Ford [View article]
This article seems somewhat like a "hit piece", especially when compared to recent articles from other authors.

Why did you not mention that Ford just increased it's Dividend from $.10/share to $.125/share (Quarterly)?

  • Buffett Is Benefiting From U.S. Rails, You Should Too [View article]
    Thanks for your interesting article.
However, I would like to see an article on CSX also.
There is a HUGE price difference between UNP and CSX.
Not all of us are ready to buy a stock in the $166/share area.
CSX is currently $28.50/share with a decent dividend.
Please consider writing an article on CSX.
    Thank You !!.

  • Samsung Is Apple's Worst Nightmare [View article]
Thank you for your wonderful, insightful and understandable article !!

Samsung is in partnership with Corning (GLW) for its display glass (Gorilla glass). Apple has chosen to use GT's display glass. I believe that GT's more costly glass is a bad decision by Apple.

IMHO, the side that I choose is Samsung.

  • I Want To Dance With Omega But I Will Wait My Turn For Mr. Market [View article]
Gratian .. very timely time to express your ideas and concerns .. Thanks!!

A concern that you did not mention is the upcoming budget negotiations ... Congress will be going after entitlement programs .. This has the potential of hitting our lives (yes, I am a young Senior) and our stocks.

Due to this, I am staying away from any stocks with skilled nursing homes since they depend on Medicare and Medicaid. My mother was a self pay in a skilled nursing home, but about 2/3rds of the patients there were on Medicaid.

Therefore, until budget talks are complete, I am staying away from any stocks (companies) that have skilled nursing homes.

I believe that healthcare REITs that are MOBs (i.e. HTA) will fair much better.

  • I Want To Dance With Omega But I Will Wait My Turn For Mr. Market [View article]
Great article as always, Brad .. Thanks !!

With the increasing baby boomers, remember that even the first year (oldest) baby boomers are 66/67 ... not near the age for many to be in assisted living/skilled nursing homes. In fact, in this day and age, first year baby boomers are still pretty young at 66/67. The rest of the baby boomers are even younger.

My point is that baby boomers in the next 10 years or longer are more likely to make use of MOBs such as HTA. That is why I have purchased HTA rather than other health care selections.

Brad ... Morgan Myrmo's article that you are referring to in this article is where he comments negatively about WSR .. almost seems like a "hit piece" on WSR .. several other commentators have also said that his article seemed like a "hit piece" on WSR.

The other author put down WSR in his article.. Then, he commented that you have not written an article on WSR since July ... I am surprised you did not mention WSR in this article.
Please address this in a comment .. or write a new article on WSR. Thanks !!
