Thank you, David, for your factual rebuttal to the article about Dividends are just a Mirage !!!!!

In the "off the wall" article about dividends just being a mirage, the writer used ARCP as his eREIT example. Wow, was he way off !!

I refer you to the rebuttal that Brad Thomas wrote yesterday entitled "American Realty Capital Properties Is No Mirage: It's Time To Back Up The Truck".

Sorry that I do not have a link to Brad's article. If you are not familiar with Brad, in the SA search just enter "Brad Thomas" and you will see this article listed on the right hand of the page.

Long ARCP, STAG, MPW and several more.

    Brad,

Thank you for your timely response to yesterday's "Mirage" article.

I was very surprised and a bit shocked that an author who obviously knows very little (if anything) about REITs even ventured into putting down ARCP and its dividend.

I read all of the comments on the "Mirage" article, and a number of us stated that Brad Thomas is THE REIT author who we follow ... The guru :)!!

    Very Long ARCP !!

Again, thank you, Brad ... You are our "White Knight" who rode in !!

  • REITs: Why The Dividends Are A Mirage [View article]
I'll say again ... You chose specific stocks to make your point .... You chose the one REIT that is going through a merger ... why not speak to REITs such as O, STAG, MPW ... etc.

I know why ... You no nothing about these REITs ... You are not anywhere a REIT expert ... please stay away from REITs (We have Brad Thomas for these) .... please stay within your realm of knowledge.

  • REITs: Why The Dividends Are A Mirage [View article]
The decrease (dilution) that we are seeing with ARCP is due to the 160M shares awarded to the ARCT investors due to the merger .. not the typical public offering.

You hand picked stocks to make your point !!!
    How about the following???? :

STAG has gained approx. $5/share price since we purchased it in Sept. 2012 with a quarterly div. of $.30.
WSR purchased in August has gained over $1.50/share price w/ div.$.285 quarterly.
And, then .. there is MPW that has gained close to $3.50/share price with a $.20 div. quarterly just since mid December.
I could go on .. HTA, etc.

When it comes to eReits, I listen to Brad Thomas and Dane Bowler.

  • Cisco's Q2 FY 2013 Results: Time To Enjoy Profit Growth Coupled With Low Risk [View article]
    In-depth article .. Thank you !!

    I am Long Cisco.
I'd greatly appreciate if you'd answer my question:

With such a good outlook for Cisco, why have the shares fallen to around $20.80 since mid February when the stock was around $21.19/share?

    Thank you !!

  • Ford Doubles Down On Its Dividend - But Is It A Smart Buy? [View article]
Your writing is not up to par of other writers of which I have read many. Use of words like "pitiful and sad" and also not listing your sources ... dare I say "hit piece" or just an inexperienced writer????

Today, Cisco was up $.47 to $21.46 at close. The stock has been up and down after hours, and is currently the same as the above close.

"Fingers crossed" that it keeps rising ..... Long Cisco.

  • Will The Sun Keep Shining On The Cloud Storage REITs? [View article]
    Brad ...
You are simply amazing .. you read my mind .. or perhaps my comment requests :). Thank you so much for this article and also your recent article on the REIT Academic sector !!

DLR and RAX are too pricey for us. (We are fairly new to this and do not want to go this high at this time.)

We are interested in the current or emerging Data Center REITS at or in the $25 range or lower that we should be watching (and doing due dilligence in the meantime) or watching for the new Data Center REITS to emerge?

(We have done great with REITs that are post IPO by 6 months or more .. STAG has performed absolutely marvelous, and HTA is coming along very well.)

An aside .. when should we expect your next News Letter to come out? ... We are eagerly awaiting !!

    Right on, montrachet!!

Three security firms have recently set a target price between $25 and $25.50. (see article by Nick Chui).

This author's title alone is disturbing when other authors are a lot more upbeat on Cisco ..

    Long Cisco !!

True ... You might want to change your article where you state that Cisco pays a $.56 dividend every quarter ... you do not say $.56 annually paid quarterly.

  • A Sleep Well At Night REIT That Is Growing Up: HTA Hits A New Closing High [View article]
Brad .. a wonderful detailed article and as usual easily understandable. I am very pleased about having these additional details about HTA !!!

I am long HTA, MPW, WSR,STAG, ARCP and several others.

By the way, we greatly enjoyed your first News Letter !!

However, I hope that, even being Forbes, that you will be able to write about the small caps and also go into Academic stocks and miscellaneous stocks such as CORR which is working steadily to become a REIT early this year.

Thank you ... and, I hope that you had a meaningful and fun time in New York !!
