An active Private Equity investor with interests in a portfolio of investments in Financial Technology, Commercial Real Estate and other operating companies, Mr. Lite has raised over $50.0 million in private equity for General Partners investing in stabilized commercial Real Estate investments.
From 2003- 2008 Mr. Lite was the Global Head of Business Development at Hotspot FX, where he negotiated and implemented over 20 Strategic Alliances and Global Partnerships formed around financial technologies. During his tenure at Hotspot, the company grew from $3.0 million in revenue to over $30.0 million, culminating in a sale to Knight Capital Group in 2006. He also played a key role advising global clients on the development and implementation of their electronic trading strategies and platforms. Between 2000 and 2003, Mr. Lite was a senior executive at Archipelago where he was the Chief Operating Officer for the East Coast and the Director of Business Development. In a period of explosive growth and expansion for the company he implemented over 10 Strategic deals with 3rd parties and opened the firms' London, Boston, and San Francisco offices. These initiatives enabled the company to achieve many of its strategic milestones including creating the nation’s first totally electronic stock exchange. Archipelago was acquired by The New York Stock Exchange. From 1998 to 2000, Mr. Lite was the Chief Operating Officer for Global Equities Trading at Lehman Brothers where he was instrumental in the reorganization and streamlining of Lehman's Equities Trading operations and coordination with Equity Research. He also formed and managed the firms first Equities E-Commerce group. From 1992 to 1998, he was the Chief Operating Officer for the North American Equities Division of Deutsche Bank Securities, where he played a key management role in growing the business to over $300.0 million in revenue while tripling the number of employees. Mr. Lite has also directed human resources, global compensation and benefits activities for Deutsche Bank North America, Chemical Bank and Citibank. Mr. Lite received his bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Upsala College. He is a member of the Financial Information Services Division (FISD), the Counsel on Foreign Relations, the Private Real Estate investors network, the Private Equity and Venture Capital Group, the New York Venture Community, the Commercial Real Estate Investment Professionals, and the National Real Estate Investors.
