  • Peter Schiff Has It Totally Backwards - Gold Is Not Going 'To The Moon' [View article]
Schiff shotgunned out hundreds of predictions; Gold going to $5000, silver going to $200, oil going to $200, USD going to 40, NASDAQ going to 500, June 2009 he said the the S&P 500 rally was just a bounce in a bear market, 10 year would not go below 2%, USD would not go over 80, Euro would not go below 1.60, Swiss would not pegged to the Euro, U.S. would depeg, U.S. stocks would be the worse investments in 2010, hyperinflation by 2012, etc, etc, etc.

Out of all those predictions he gets one correct and no one asks about the predictions that were wrong.

Only reason he jumped on the housing bubble bandwagon was because Gary Schilling schooled him in 2006. Go to youtube and look it up. Schilling was laughing and laughing of course Schiff was doing his "what if" spill.

  • The Fed Is Not Pushing Stock Prices Higher [View article]
If it wasn't for the Fed were would yields be?

The Fed artificially holding down the yield curve has; (2 obvious examples) lowered the cost of business for corporations/increased earnings and have forced savers into stocks/more buyers.

Hence a rising stock market. That is urrefutable. Sometimes 1+1 does equal 2.

  • Peter Schiff Has It Totally Backwards - Gold Is Not Going 'To The Moon' [View article]
Wrote a book called Crash Proof and that advice caused your porfolio to crash double than the fall in the S&P 500. Now he is saying that is not the crash he meant. Move the goal posts, much?

The North East had to stop production and fire the workers. So North East had no jobs and the South And West had no jobs.
