  • How $10 Billion Gets Apple's Stock To $750 [View article]
I been traveling around here in SE Asia and people are already buying and wearing watches with the Apple logo on them as hip fashion. Apple has a luxury brand image, and if they move slowly as to not saturate their brand, they can really make a new consumer need with a new innovative tech standard for the lucrative luxury watch market.

  • Can Anything Bring Apple Back? [View article]
I been very bearish on apple for a few years now, and I am very happy with this correction and looking to put a long toe in the water due to apple making more inexpensive phones for medium to low end users. I have used high end smart phones (including iphones) for a decade and I am thoroughly convinced that they are just not worth the money due to constant upgrades/theft/security issues/bugs/durability... requirements/device loss or data loss.

I have thus just been buying a phone for just that, only for phone use. I can afford to buy a new retard phone every month, but for a high end user, it is not about the money, it is about the security/durability and in reality no phone can ever give that completely. I have resorted happily to use paper and pen, and brain memory as the best security. But after my current cheap phone bites the dust, I will look to apple now as a possible buy. I travel alot, and emerging markets love iphone brand and know the quality but just can't afford it. Instead they buy knock offs all the time at the low-medium market prices. I am in my late 20's and as the smart user matures, they are just not going to see the value/hype in these retard phones, but apple will be able to now be able market to them. Apple made a smart move.

I need a 24 hour Fed alert computer program system to my cell to get the next criptic warning of a interest rate hike. I swear all this Fed jargon and interest rate manipulation is ridiculous.

  • The Philippines: More 2 Steps Forward And 1 Step Back? [View article]
I have been living here in Philippine Islands for a couple of years now, and I am amazed how many expats from all over the world are turning to live in PI. In the area where I reside and visit, I notice several new luxury condo complexes being built and sold out within a year. Even in the remote areas of PI, I almost always find a expats or expat owned resorts. More and more foreigners are choosing to live here due the lowering standard of living in the west and less real estate regulations.

My biggest complaint is the road systems here, there needs to be major expansion in this area of infrastructure to really open up more lucrative commerce. Two way roads are not cutting it, PI needs more hi-ways.

One thing I like to point out is that the controlling families also run political systems in the developed economies, the major difference between the west and PI is that almost anybody can afford to pay off a traffic ticket or a PI official; while in the developed economies, more and more people struggle to pay of a speeding ticket, let alone can afford lobby their interests to a controlling family.

I been long for PI for over a year now, and so you can tell by the charts, I have no regrets.

After this huge price drop, I sense I need to prepare for the worst in ARR, the question is, what will it take for ARR to reach 0? ARR is so highly levered plus they are always watering down the price with huge stock offerings. ARR seems to be one of the biggest gambles due to some of management's past history. This high yield just seems like a poisonous bait.
