I am a thirty-something manager at a large publicly traded company. Most of my investing focus is on smaller companies offered at a significant discount to intrinsic value, although I frequently short shares I believe are overvalued. In either case I seek to buy and sell based on a compelling fundamental valuation, with only moderate consideration of pricing & volume trends or other technical analysis.
