My hobby is the stock market, and for that I have developed a custom software application. It once took over a week to do one days calculations and now I have it down to only 4.5 hours of calculations each day. I managed this improvement through multi-threading and refactoring. I use no other information than ticker, price and volume in any calculation.

I have worked in research and design for a number of years, mostly for Hewlett Packard, but also for MS, and I enjoy research, such as the custom indicators I have built.

I plan to create a correlation indicator in the near future, but it takes a lot of time, especially since this is just a hobby for after work.
