  • Danger Zone For This Week: Apple [View article]
This article is a hard pill to swallow. However, some things AAPL needs to do - (1) continue to innovate and solidify plans to ship whatever TV you are working and (2) give up the ghost on having a love affair with being in court. Do the right thing and drop this sillyness with DOJ on e-books. It is news (trial starts 6/3) that really doesn't need to be around pre-WWDC and any upcoming announcements. It just needs to go away. So, please, AAPL, for the love of God - you know I love you - do the right thing. Just sayin.

When I saw how this article started, I knew it was going nowhere. And it didn't. Back to Meet The (de)Press(ed).

  • A Bullish Case For BlackBerry, The Death Of Tablets And A Strong Q10 Launch [View article]
The Z10 is a really nice phone (my husband wants to buy it) and the fact that it uses Android apps and the hub is going to put it back in the game.

  • Why Apple Is Becoming Irrelevant [View article]
Hi Josh - I agree that it does come down to preference by customers and also the company who is developing products reading those preferences correctly beforehand. The word is the 5S is getting larger but I don't think by that much. I have not tested nor do I want to test a Samsung so I cannot say here nor there whether the camera is better or if a larger screen is the difference. It depends on preferences as you note. To Apple, innovation is key and now that Jony Ive has a larger share of responsibility thanks to Forstall's departure, I am eagerly anticipating the next great things. I will say that change for the sake of change is never a good thing. It all needs to be methodical and fit with AAPL's culture and brand. Thanks for writing and please continue to write more.

  • Why Apple Is Becoming Irrelevant [View article]
Well, first, I missed the memo that AAPL is becoming irrelevant. Why? How? And second, I would expect more from a Miss St alumnus. But, I'll bite, why? Because the competition is catching up in the tablet and smart phone? It was going to happen, to some extent. Kinda. I just read IDC saying that Surface is down - and excessive re-broadcasts of that Surface commercial is just not going to help that. Sorry, Ballmer. How is AAPL dealing with competition gaining some traction? Business as usual. BTW, we are seeing convergence of the smart phone market now. Margins will go south. That's how that works, Prod Dev 101. Phablet? AAPL has always been about what people want. I think the iPhone can and will get a tad bit larger but a bit. The law of diminishing returns sets in (like taking the GMAT too many times) that trying to improve on something too much may have an opposite effect. AAPL knows this and you are forgetting totally about the quality - the products are just that good. How are the others handling that?

  • Apple: Massive Buyback Powers Shares After Hours [View article]
Kind of a non-issue don't you think? My point is this - AAPL was supposed to launch in summer, then it got moved into fall, now back to summer. Net change = 0. Just sayin. :) Maybe intentional? One never knows with these things. But with that, WWDC stuff, iOS7 deets, etc., any rise in price of my AAPL stock, I'm singin.

  • Apple: There And Back Again [View article]
I was intrigued by your article title as it sounded like a Bob Dylan title. Peaks and valleys. Such as life and business cycles. AAPL is on the rise, I hope good and on its own but I know there have been a lot of announcements surrounding WWDC lately and the fact that iOS7 is the first all Tim Cook product (no SJ). I am sure a lot of anticipation. I am still on the train that this stock is way, way undervalued.

    L-O-N-G AAPL.

Hey ST. Gone are the secrecy days...kinda. The subtext of AAPL since the annual meeting has been fascinating. Lotsa stuff brewing, they just can't take their eye off the ball.

Ok, Mr Ballmer, get off Seeking Alpha and back to your office. Hmmm, could it possibly be that some people are shorting? There seems to be a surplus to those types that are alive and well. Hmmmm....
