A Practical Demonstration of the Value of Portfolio Theory

I love these market timers!! How lucky I am to have the very few investors who can foresee the future here at this forum!! I can hardly wait to cash in on their insight!! Please tell me what will come next because I also would like to pull out just in the nick of time and then jump back in and make a killing!! Wouldn't that be great!! Alas I don't have much faith in that group. Talk is cheap. These are the typical investors who think they are smarter than everyone else, including the market. I perfer to tune them out and listen to the finance professors and the wisdom of Malkiel, Sharpe, Seigal, Stein, DeMuth. I base my investment choices on research, science and data and not the timing guesses of brokers and fortune tellers. My hat is off to DeMuth and Stein. But wouldn't it be nice if timing was so easy!!!!
