  • 3 Reasons To Own National Presto Industries [View article]
Thanks for pointing out the spelling error. Not to sound too critical, but I'm a little skeptical of this article if the author couldn't spell the name of the CEO correctly.

  • China Cord Blood Corporation: 64% Upside Potential [View article]
This is a penny stock in an unreliable market...and I think it's irresponsible to post a story on such a stock.

  • Gold Market: Is That A Light At The End Of The Tunnel Or An Oncoming Train? [View article]
So what does a gold investor do now?? I'm humble enough to admit that I really don't know. Are the doomsayers who say gold is done correct? Or are we approaching some kind of bottom here in the $1300-1400 range??

  • Stocks To Continue Sell-Off Next Week [View article]
    Dear Dialectical Materialist:
You sound very much the realist. I am, by contrast, very much the worry wart...and I worry very much about the gargantuan overhang of debt threatening the global system.
Please tell me (and mean that sincerely) why I shouldn't worry about that...and what I should do with my money? Buy high-quality equities now?

  • Marc Faber's October Outlook: Forget EU Debt Crisis, A China Meltdown Is The Real Threat [View article]
This is confusing advice to follow. On the one hand, he thinks gold is headed higher longterm; however, he thinks it might fall 40% shortterm. So what's an investor to do about gold? Buy it? Hold it? Sell it?

  • Newmont Mining: A Value Stock in a Growth Sector [View article]
No this article or elsewhere...has yet to adequately explain why gold mining stocks have been sagging as gold prices have been soaring. The only explanation I can think of is that investors fear nationalization of the mines owned by these companies. One more explanation I've heard is the effect of inflation on the costs of mining. But the bottom line...or so it that if one wants to play the price of gold, one should simply buy gold.
