Many other companies are paying a "special" dividend before year end, in order to obtain the current tax rate on such(15%). XOM pays it only to senior executives rather than also to shareholders. That's just not right, and makes the BOD look pretty bad. Yes, I have sufficient XOM shares to have an opinion.
