  • RIMM'S BB10 APPEAL IS WHAT?

I am a small business owner.

I own and run my own company.

I'm the secretary, the salesman, the book-keeper, accounts receivable department, accounts payable.

    No employees yet.

That's how it is when you start.

As far as geeky communication devices, I own 1 Blackberry Bold plus an Android Phone and as far as computer hardware, I have a Toshiba labtop, a HP PC (4 years old), an ACER PC and most recently received an IPAD 2 for a gift.

I waste alot of time and energy carrying my files back and forth and when I am in my office, I open my labtop, plus my two PC'S, and I am multi tasking up to 6 things at the same time.

Because of the Windows 7 that I use, I am opening two things at a time per screen; sometimes I have more windows open per screen but I can only look at two at a time.

So you can imagine now, if I could reduce all of that to one screen,

which I can then open all of my apps that I need, and keep all of them open in "peek " mode, how much time that would save?

And how much money will it save in hardware costs?

I could keep one PC on as a slave/back up to my BB10.

Forget about ONE labtop and PC; even sell them.

And use just the BB10, and if the technology allows it, feed the image to a larger screen that way when I am peeking, I can see everything so much bigger..

No need to spend all that money on hardware.

No need to spend all that money on antivirus for my business computers because the blackberry system is literally hack proof.

I can do it all from one device; saving a ton of time and money.

If the BB10 system works flawlessly, and it works for me, and I am just a one-employee company, imagine what the savings would be, if I had 10 employees?

    20 employees?

    100 employees with pc's?

    1000 employees with pc's?

    The IT maintenance costs?

    Security leak costs?

Add it all up and what is the number one reason why I will be considering the BB10 as a business computing solution?

Answer: Extra ordinary bang for the buck.

More money left for me at the end of the year.

I believe that BBM's #1 mission is to address the needs of its customers with a portfolio of solutions that saves them time and money.

I don't know too many companies that are truly interested in saving me money or time for that matter.

Too many companies, especially in the field of communication and computing devices, are very very smart at designing sexy products that are backed up with great services, but for me, all those sexy toys mean nothing.

I need something that will save me time.

If the BB10 can save me time imagine how much money it can save companies that are 1000 times bigger than me.

Time in this day and age is the single greatest commodity on earth.

    Toys can be sexy.

    Toys can be trendy.

Toys can be even become a social economic fashion statement.

But toys never save you time.

Toys help you to spend the time that you saved.

Time saving is the appeal behind BB10.

    Disclosure: I am long RIMM.
