Living in Colorado, near Fort Collins. Retired (@55) engineer, who worked at IBM, GE, Caterpillar, and ran a small medical centrifuge company for a while... Played with stocks for many years, and have gotten fairly good at reading the Wall Street crowd's groupthink. When I think the GroupThink is wrong, I invest accordingly. Amongst my many failures, I called a few good ones...ie "housing never goes down" (I shorted California mortgage companies & homebuilders), no American company can make a decent car (I bought a lot of Ford @ $2), etc. Recently, I've had time to write letters to the editor, blog, garden & hike the Colorado Rockies.
