    "Remember this story?"

Yes, which they promptly removed when it was proved incorrect.

First of all, The Guardian is not a trash newspaper.
Secondly, these were leaks obtained from the intelligence services, this was not commentary by The Guardian.

Questions do remain over this. It's irrelevant that this happened 4 years ago - it happened. It happened to customers of a company that touts its' security as the best in the world.

    Long $BBRY.

What a strange thing to write.

As usual, MSFT fails at everything it touches.
The sooner this travesty of the tech industry is dead & buried the better for all of us.

I hope it hits 13.50 again so I can get some more capital in place to buy. Missed out on that low this Wednesday and was pissed about it even before Thursday's open!

  • BlackBerry Is Still Fighting With 1 Hand Tied Behind Its Back [View article]
"No one who knows what they are doing will ever end up with malware on their devices. Only naive users and/or those who do not use a security software will ever end up being the victims of such attacks."

So, 90%+ of the world's users of smart phones then? (See: Windows OS)

"Most of the world want nothing to do with Blackberry and BB10. Sales numbers prove that fact beyond any shadow of doubt."

Only need a small % of the smartphone population to want BB for it to be a slam dunk success.

  • Why Google Chrome Will Crack Windows [View article]
Microsoft will be obliterated by Google. It'll take a long time for MSFT to die, and it will bleed for a couple decades I'm sure, but MSFTs view of the world is stuck in the 80s. The sooner they're in the dustbin of history the better for all of us.

I'm not sure if you're responding to me or the author - but you're obviously very emotionally involved with your stock of choice, which I find both cute and pathetic.

Microsoft doesn't do competition. It's a (convicted) abusive monopoly.

There is too much wrong with Microsoft to name in a post, so as a short answer - "everything they've ever produced" has been trash.

Microsoft is not an innovative company. It didn't see the internet coming, when it did, it became the single biggest security nightmare in IT history. Then it produced Internet Explorer. A thoroughly laughable (even today) piece of crap that has undoubtedly held back the development of the web by many years which we'll never get back.

Microsoft has the desktop OS monopoly, and the Office software monopoly, and it is these that have kept the gorilla afloat and allowed it to spew away its' huge cash hoards into unsuccessful endeavors over years.

Microsoft is too big to respond to emerging technologies, and I'm yet to see innovation that's been welcomed by customers.

I wouldn't be able to live with myself owning MSFT. Few companies have been as evil or detrimental to progress as Microsoft. May it crash and burn.
