The Better Burger Threat To McDonald's [View article]
Tim Horton's is the worst, just carries some sentimental value to "true Canadians". Five guys waaaay to expensive, although okay burgers. Same goes for "Fatburger". Overall all junk food is correlated to the low general level of public. Oh and i feel sick after eating there every time.
TechCrunch's Josh Constine does a post-mortem on Zynga's (ZNGA) collapse. In addition to the mobile gaming shift, he blames higher customer acquisition costs, Facebook's efforts to reduce "game spam" within notifications and news feeds, and the growing popularity of more complex games than the likes of FarmVille. Tech rally and sector in large doesn't apply to this company by any means.
An Apple (AAPL) TV set is arriving, says CLSA, but not until 2013, in spite of plenty of speculation to the contrary. Foxconn's investments in Sharp lend credence to iTV rumors, CLSA argues, viewing the deals as "an effort to improve Sharp's financial position before becoming a more meaningful supplier to Apple." As do reports Apple is investing $1.3B to upgrade Sharp's facilities. [View news story]
Terrible idea. No margins, cut throat market and besides with media devices moving increasingly away from traditional TVs to other sources, what does Apple want to accomplish? maybe i am wrong though.
