Jason - 650 by earnings is doable as we have 644 (previous high), and with retail chasing it beyond... is 704 your target where it "stalls" again. How do you find that number at which it stalls just curious (fibs?) Thanks
Jason, For a stock to appreciate it needs buyers and hence volume. Where are these buyers. Nowadays we see low volume on upside and high volume on the downside. Who do you think has scared the buyers away.
PS - At every BBQ I attend, people perceive AAPL as a $600 expensive stock an how much money is left to be made. Until that perception goes away I don't see any new highs

Dont think the pattern is broken... its just "tweaked or adjusted" along the way. Its free money for them EVERY week. AAPL is relatively safe stock as there is no news that their PR releases except for sales around product launches.

iPod numbers were down significantly last quarter. While I understand it was not the "holiday quarter", it definitely is in a need for form refresh, and this is what it could be with a "larger screen iPod touch". My kids all of them have their own iPod touch but thats not what they really care for anymore, they prefer their own iPads. A mini iPad could get the younger generation excited about their own at a lower price point (say 299). What do you think

Siddarth, Good article. There is one gotcha though. Peter Oppenheimer incidated that channel already has 8MM iphones. So that Q3 iphone number could be softer.
