  • Microsoft's Windows 8 Will Surprise Everyone [View article]
Good Article George...I too believe Msft will succeed on W8 & Wp8 with the Lumia's & a couple of feature phones, the expansion of the W8 OS to mobile will prove to be the ecosystem of choice, let it be consumer or enterprise.....Quantum Cryptograph is ready & approve by the government.

BTW Is there any information you can provide us about Quantum Photonics of Bristol Univ. I believe that the success of this technology will bring about a new way of computing leading to a new trend that may explode to the demand for tabletPC & phonePC that I am sure you have heard about. NOKIA is one of the two financier of this technology which is predicted to be commercially viable in 2 1/2 years.

Durability (paramount), technical support & availability of parts supply are among the top ten requirements for Enterprise devise issues.....Nok have more to offer than what those requirements with their device & services div....In my mind Lumias will succeed & so are their featurephones...Asha is now almost a smartphone or are they already are.

No pun intended but Msft is not dying..If you are not invested with Msft then perhaps you have little knowledge of what they are doing right now...for your information Windows OS is evolving and integrated with mobile Wp8 OS producing an ecosystem that will be second to none, as touted but doubted...However, one can check the statistics for users of Msft Office that is used worldwide, so what is good about it? The world PC users are so accustomed to Msft Office, 90% of that worldwide number..... but hey wait, they are releasing the suite of Msft Office for iOS... isn't that nice...afterall Msft lend AAPL a lot of money to help Steve Jobs fulfill his dreams...If not for Msft..AAPL is not where it is now.....If there is any company that can kill APPL it will be only MSFT & the one and only Mr Cook.

Their future mobile phones (built by Nokia) with Wp8 OS demand is growing very strongly worldwide and their marketshare as seen will grow exponentially ( I personally believe that)...BTW NOKIA will be riding on that success through their IP & HERE mapping.

Msft is now so diversified that they are now even investing in energy....

Can't you just say thank you MSFT for bringing us the technology. Heck you can now even post at sites like Seeking Alpha....Isn't that a dream come true? Their credibility in the world of computing is top notch that's why 92% of the world PC users are using Windows OS.

  • Did Nokia Sell Out To Microsoft Too Soon? [View article]
Would have been a perfect timing after the Q3 report.....Everything looks so rosy for NOK even without the announcement of of a buyout...

Launch of New exciting product L1020, then phablet & tablets Sept. 26 & 27th...Q3 report, then the buyout, would have been perfect for a real good short tight squeezeeee

  • Will Apple's iPhone 5C Kill Nokia? [View article]
Cant see or read much future innovations to enhance use of smartphones but fingerprint security or retina, sound, music, mapping perhaps. etc. etc. They all seemed to be racing now on power. battery performance, screen size. Not much features to maintain the price...The battle seems to have move to the lower end where those phones are equal to the top end phone of 4 years back....

They all seemed to be equal now as a smartphone except in price....All I can see right now is the concept of phones becoming your PC and its mobile....
