Most medicines nowadays are taken from cures found IN HERBAL MEDICINES. Chemical compounds are found in the herbs and reproduced synthetically and processed to make drugs. Most of them are dangerously concocted to simulate the natural but fall short of effectiveness. For instance the "wonder drug" of the 20th century, "aspirin", is a synthetic reproduction of willow bark extract use by natives to cure head aches and tooth aches and fevers. Aspirin causes internal bleeding, because of it's acidic properties. While willow bark extract in natural form works well with no measurable side affects.
