How long has the Labor Dept been releasing the payroll numbers on Friday at 8:30 to great anticipation by investors, traders and politicians? Forever? What if they changed the reporting frequency to weekly or even daily? Wouldn't we all have a faster and maybe better idea of where the economy is headed. And we could do something else on the Thursday before the first Friday of every month.
Why are they trapped shorts? They made good money since Oct.. 15 betting against financials and maybe Paulson and Appaloosa. So it's just time to go. That's what happens to short-term shorts.
