It's a media consumption device, and a seductively sensuous one to hold in your hands. The Kindle has never appealed to me, but I'm definitely going to make the e-book switch now. Since I'm not a road warrior, I don't really need a laptop. I just keep one for use around the house (for media consumption). The iPad will replace the awkward form factor of the laptop, which was never really a good form factor anyway. And I definitely see myself getting back into playing games again after having abandoned gaming 30 years ago.
