    You generalize Vringo's patents -- as if all patents are created equal -- without examing exactly what Vringo's patents are and how they affect Google. Without such analysis, this article is useless and misses the point. Your argument essentially states that because other companies own search-related patents, Vrigno's search-related patents are trivial. Google can decide on it's own which patents are worthy of fighting and which are worthy of settlement. Those of us who have done our due diligence firmly believe that it is in Google's best interest to settle.

    To use another one of your arguments against you, what kind of precedent would Google be setting if they lost this trial? Wouldn't that be an even worse result and create a far more dangerous precedent?
