  • BlackBerry (BBRY +2.7%) plans to offer its Secure Work Space software for Android (GOOG) and Apple's (AAPL) iOS in June, thereby enabling users to split and secure their work and personal data on non-BlackBerry devices. The move comes as corporate and government clients increase their use of iPhones and Android devices, and as Samsung (SSNLF.PK) makes its own play for larger customers who are worried about security. It won't make a dent in there revenues, its an accounting adjustment. What is someone willing to pay for such a tool or service when they barely afford firewalls. I own and run a company with over a hundred employees, I have no interest in affording for such things to separate my employees work and personal phone systems. At some point I have to draw the line on how far I trust them, and the relative cost to enforce that trust. I'm not about to install such mechanisms, nor hire the people to administrate it. Even if I thought I would buy such a tool, blackberry doesn't come first to mind, far from it.

The market for such tools is very small, sure its a nice broadening of the platform, and an adjacent market, but its not the core, and its a very small market. It won't make much of an impact, if any.

  • Real Analysis Of Apple's Current Supply Constraint [View article]
I ordered an iPhone 5, it won't be here until October 26th, I can't wait to have LTE, do I even consider another phone? No. I have a MacBook Pro, an IPad 3, 3 Apple TV boxes in my home. I buy content, and access content between devices on iCloud, and it works flawlessly. I can say this of no other company that I buy products from. I buy Apple shares every two weeks, I'm long, long, long. Reveal who else I should buy my products from that offer this. Microsoft? HP? These issues of purple haze, bad maps to the coffee shop are mountains out of a molehill. Same as when the shorts and market badgers were after the antenna issue on the iPhone 4. What an incredible problem to have, Apple can't produce enough phones fast enough. Like Steve Jobs said, if you don't like the phone don't buy it, you bought one and don't like it, bring it back. If your Iphone is on back order do you think people will get frustrated and buy a Samsung? I think not.

  • Apple: Future Storefront Volatility And Short Trade Trigger [View article]
The future is exactly this....go to the store, look at the merchandise, try it on, touch it whatever. Scan the qr or barcode with your phone. Go home.

Your package will arrive the same day or the next. You don't like it, a young woman or gentleman swings by to pick it up, probably in a brown uniform, and its a new service offered by UPS. That is the future. If you want something right then, you are limited to the volume items.

That's exactly where Amazon is headed. Same day delivery. Apple knows this just as well, that you can't build a stock room big enough someday at a retail location to hold all your stuff, and it doesn't make sense to pay $50 a foot for a warehouse, pay a $1.

Use your power of thought, this article is typical of static thinkers, that's why your an investor and not an entrepreneur. Short it if you like, my estimate is that Apple will be twice the size in a few years, and they will challenge the status quo not only in products, but fulfillment.
