In 2006 FNIS was under investigation after an internal associate sold 8.5 million customer records on the black market. In 2007 FNIS settled a class action lawsuit for these actions.

I lost my livelihood and now I am losing my home and my car after I reported similar inappropriate uses of consumers’ private and confidential information.
