I am a self-employed owner of high technology businesses, primarily engaged in designing and manufacturing computers and Mobile SmartPhones. I also build-out and operate WiMAX / WiFi Networks over which I deliver SIP based VOIP Telecommunications to SME's.

Up until five years ago, I relied upon the financial services industry to manage my pension funds but I became aware that they were very good at making massive salaries and bonus's off the back of my money whilst leaving me with the crumbs on the table. So I brought my money under my own control and since that time the profits and growth rates that I enjoy are many times what was being delivered previously.

A lesson learned: Nobody looks after your money more than you do.
