  • The Short Case For GoPro [View article]
There are so many questions about this company that it remains difficult to establish stable ground for investors and reasonable assessment of its potential. All of which leads many to short the stock inviting 'day traders' as the primary movers for this stock...Overall, I think that GoPro has a viable product; however, they need a better strategy for solvency than the current 'mix'...

  • Why AT&T Looks Like A Bargain [View article]
AT&T (NYSE:T) is a bargain, 'period.' Especially considering its price $35, industry leading dividend payout and 5 year equity performance, (T) is a great asset to have within one's portfolio.

  • Weighing The Week Ahead: Will The Fed Experiment End Badly? [View article]
The economy is not as strong as we'd like to think or that has been projected by job numbers and market indices. The latter only indicates how concentrated US wealth has become. There's still weakness in the employment markets as 'quality jobs' are scarce and wages for the most part remain stagnant. Let's face it, the US economy is primarily service oriented featuring jobs of inherently low wage and low technology. Sure, we have Silicon Valley as well as health care innovations (technology) but that's it! The US market is a saturated...so growth for many US firms will occur through efforts to globalize within emerging markets....

  • Tesla's Gigafactory: Are Investors' Fears Justified [View article]
It amazes me of how many 'naysayers' are out there....at every opportunity to discount the decision, strategy and viability of this company detractors are many. Tesla vehicles are pretty good for a new and innovative company. Sure, like other conventional automakers (NYSE:GM) the company has warranty claims but many have chosen to elevate Tesla's issues?

  • Bank Of America Stock Forecast Based On A Predictive Algorithm [View article]
How much worse can it get? BAC has reached the bottom but this revelation only an indicates that BAC is a steal at this price! Might I say severely undervalued? Poor leadership has driven this company of HUGE assets down to historical lows in both price and reputation. If the stock declined any further, I would be surprised....regardless of extent of the current problems and any new issues.

  • IBM-licensed servers take aim at Intel's server CPU dominance [View news story]
Of course, clients are going to support an optional equipment manufacturer/supplier; they're looking for cost realizations from a more competitive environment which will give them greater leverage during negotiations with Intel. The problem for Intel is that IBM is NOT a take over candidate so the threat is REAL!

  • Analyzing AT&T's 2nd Quarter Results [View article]
Overall, I view the results (+) for (NYSE:T) even considering the marginal decline in operating income of which is a product of strategic initiatives to improve one's market position. (T) is a great asset to have within one's portfolio offering stable performance year after year, a great dividend and positive long-term performance slope. Its just not Verizon (VZN) which it doesn't have to be! To me, investors can't go wrong with either Verizon or AT&T its just the former has a greater upside. However, (T) is NO 'slouch' and does offer strong competition, enough to solidify its current industry position and also propel itself into the top spot. Although, long-term is the position that investors should have with (T), Verizon's performance considering the appreciation in equity value is better than the bond-like performance of (T). This is the difference between improving one's investor demographics from one laden with an investor posture of 'wealth preservation' to one that includes 'wealth creation'.

  • Nokia: Now Comfortably Waiting For The Advanced Technologies Catalyst [View article]
im626 I understand that they have improved their position but I question the pace and extent given the time (limit) forecasted within the future competition. Look, I like Nokia and have been a fan prior to this crisis enduring the 'penny stock' status...my comments are cautionary...

  • Nokia: Now Comfortably Waiting For The Advanced Technologies Catalyst [View article]
Much about Nokia's portfolio is undervalued ever since the handheld business was sold to Microsoft. Its disturbing to witness this once industry leader wait seemingly on the sidelines for help to improve its prospects for growth and market position, all of which are improbable outcomes. Look, competition is stiff and any opportunity that industry leaders have to take market share from smaller and vulnerable competition they will as evident by the Apple and IBM deal. Blackberry is more vulnerable than before. So, Nokia has to improve its strategic position in some way.

  • 4 Reasons Intel Is Worth Buying [View article]
The improved sales projections for the PC; an improved economy; a slowdown in demand for the 'trendy' tablets and smartphone have all triggered the need for chips. The type of chips that go into PCs. This is great news for traditional chip manufacturers and desktop manufacturers like Dell. Recent surveys of IT professionals and managers indicate an expressed desire to purchase for 2014-15 especially given the growth of cloud computing, 3-D printing and the advent of powerful new desktops.

So how much will Intel rise? Or are we to expect only a stabilization of the market? I say growth is on the horizon...at least 8-10%!

  • Tesla's Gigafactory: Are Investors' Fears Justified [View article]
Invariably there are significant risks associated with this venture but so to are the rewards after success. Tesla shouldn't be the lone investor for the Gigafactory as there are many whom can benefit this is especially true for battery suppliers/manufacturers. Sure Panasonic pledged $200M (which is nothing to sneeze at) but others need to buy into this strategic initiative before its too late...

  • Apple Hits New 52-Week High - Price Target Raised To $110 [View article]
So, what happens if the stock breaches the new ceiling? Let's say after new product releases the stock rises above $110 just as before when some claimed that value estimates were 'inflated'? What next? No one knows the future value and many work in attempts to determine the 'proper valuation' where many fail...

  • Why GoPro Isn't... [View article]
First, I'm only voicing the concerns of investors whom often point to the prefabricated assertions of value that seem to impact the market in unconventional ways. The truth is no one knows the value of anything until someone decides to pay for it. By the way, I don't get upset...'my friend'....just only addressing concerns...
