Adam Crutchfield is a Principal in the Government, Aerospace & Defense (GA&D) Group at FOCUS Investment Banking, a leading middle market investment bank with offices in Washington, D.C. Atlanta, L.A. and San Francisco. At FOCUS, he originates and executes M&A and capital raise transactions in the commercial aerospace & defense technology markets. Mr. Crutchfield is principally focused on advising suppliers of aerospace sensing and control systems, embedded computing and software, ISR payloads and electronic warfare (EW) technologies. He has particular expertise in the impact of supply chain and market trends on aerospace & defense (A&D) M&A valuations. Mr. Crutchfield received a B.S. in Economics and Commerce from Hampden-Sydney College, and was a William Boinest Scholar for innovation in mathematical finance there. He has authored several papers that develop novel, algorithm-based equity and derivative valuation frameworks, including "Forecasting and Valuation under Cash Flow Risk in 2008." He is also a novice pilot-in-training and an amateur designer / builder of micro unmanned aerial systems (UAS).
