  • Cramer's Lightning Round - Slim Pickens For Clean Energy Fuels (5/14/12) [View article]
Goalkick - Obama has done this? How about giving credit to the oil companies taking risks and developing/improving technology? If Obama has done so much to increase production, why are the government controlled lands leases (for new oil/gas exploration) down significantly?

What about the Keystone pipeline? IMO Obama cares more about being reelected than he does about the long term fate of our country's energy needs.

  • Chesapeake Energy: Ready To Double [View article]
Wasn't it just a few years ago that the board voted to reimburse the CEO's huge loss in his stock purchases? Sounds like he can be aggressive with his stock (leveraging it ) if he feels another bailout from shareholders will be there. In my opinion, this company falls big time someday.

  • A Couple Of Possible Shorts For An Economic And Oil Downturn [View article]
Thanks for your article David. I additionally like to see the "other side's" arguments as well. I think it is really positive to see matters from different angles and I thought they made some good points, too.

Yes, it sounds like I am in politics by this comment, but actually I typically just strive to b one "who is quick to listen and slow to speak" : James 1:19

I would never buy CHK after they bailed out the CEO's personal investment loss a few years ago.

  • 20 Companies With Bullish Options Sentiment That Are Reporting Earnings Next Week [View article]
It's my understanding that BEXP has a buy out agreement that is awaiting approval from shareholders. How would a good earnings report lift this stock over the current price? I am not criticizing --and do stress that I am not an seasoned stock investor.

Nice research on BEXP. I bought a bit of stock a few weeks ago and decided to buy a call option when the overall market was really sour.

    Keep up the good work!

  • What's The Connection Between Gold And Natural Gas? [View article]
I think if politicians could see the light as suggested by the author, they could still pass an energy plan and direct our country's energy path for the future (nat gas or LNG for our vehicles). By leading, I think our govt. should pass tax incentives for making conversion easier on corporations and small businesses.

Even if the government was to spend some money on infrastructure, as a conservative and Tea Party guy, I would even support government spending if it helps wane us from our dependence on imported oil.
