    @all: gold and KO are different asset classes with different purposes in one's portfolio. they are apples and oranges. i want both for different reasons.

    ps: long HL and NEM, and looking to buy KO later this year.

    my guess is, the operating managers run the properties, so PSEC isn't dealing with vacancy issues, etc. therefore, neither should we. (long psec)

    also, if these properties were purchased at reduced prices due to the housing crash, then the sale of these properties in the future should bring about some capital gains for further, atypical BDC ventures.
